Anarchism in Brazil, past and present
A conversation with anarchists from São Paulo, Brazil
Some comrades from Brasil are coming to the Anarchist Library/Bollox, to talk about the
current situation of the anarchist movement in Brazil. They will start out by
shortly covering some historical events and persons which were important to the
anarchist movement in Brazil. This will be followed by a conversation between
those present and our guests, because they also want to know what the situation
is here in the Netherlands regarding squatting, anarchism, direct action and autonomous spaces.
Our guests are involved in, among other things, the anarchist project Biblioteca Terra
Livre http://bibliotecaterralivre.noblogs.org/
That same night ORDINARIA HIT & Renato Ferreira (Royal Improvisers Orchestra) will
play in the OCCI. The speakers at the meeting play in this band and turn their anarchism into music.
