Sticker action against IrResponsible soy

Waar: Albert Heijn, Celebesstraat, Amsterdam, Netherlands (GPS lat: 52.361284 lon: 4.932354)
Wanneer: 02/12/2011 - 17:30

There will be a sticker and flyer action against IrResponsible soy at Albert Heijn in Amsterdam again. This time we really want to do both stickering and flyering.

Last time (10 november) we got welcomed by an (unexpected) committee of police and Albert Heijn guards who warned us that the police would immediately come in action if we would go stickering, and therefore we decieded not to go stickering that time. We only handed out flyers, next to ALbert Heijn employees who were also handing out flyers, stating, that because they are part of the Round Table on Responsible Soy (RTRS), Albert Heijn is making soy more sustainable. Exactly the point we are fighting. We want to make sure that people understand that the RTRS is not sustainable nor responsible and that Albert Heijn should therefore stop misleading the consumer about this. That is why we want to stick labels on the meat and dairy products of animals fed with toxicsoy and hand out leaflets to inform the public. In order to do this we need enough people, so come and join us!

Contact us via soja@aseed.net to learn more about the assembly-point.
