Classical Tantra lectures by Sanjay Vishwakarma

TY-What is Classical Tantra-1

The word "Tantra" is defined as "to weave, to expand, and to spread". Some call it as a fabric. Tantric practices work with the transformation of energy and to balance various polarities in order to strengthen our fabric and rework it so it can return to its original, authentic nature. The powerful practices involved in tantra on a larger scale cultivate spiritual growth and wisdom. Those practices are using Sacred Sexuality, specific rituals, yoga (breathing techniques and postures) exercises and poses, meditations, visualizations, evocations, and mantras, - all intended to evoke divine energy and achieve both spiritual and material goals.

Classical tantra refers to the philosophical concepts that go back several thousand years. It is important to note that there are both sexual and non-sexual components.
