| | | | | | Dear Michal,
The timing of our Love in Action event couldn't be more significant, yes??
From the international climate meeting in Glasgow, to the drama around the reconciliation bill, to political division and everything else going on, we're all feeling very intensely the discombobulation of an old system. We feel the death throes of an old way of doing things, but also the possibility for something new to emerge.
And for that to happen, however, we must act. | | | | That is why our event is called Love in Action. The name is taken from something Deepak Chopra said: "Love without action is irrelevant and action without love is meaningless - but when you engage in love in action the whole world supports you."
We've all spent years learning the principles of personal transformation, and now it's our time to apply those principles to changes in our nations, our species, and on our planet. I've always felt that those who understand the deeper principles of personal transformation are the last people who should be sitting out the great economic, social and political questions of our day; those who have a clue as to what changes one heart have the most to say about what could change the world.
If a species continues to behave in maladaptive ways, it reaches a point where it will either evolve in a new direction - or it will go extinct. Our survival is not guaranteed - neither the survival of our democracy, the survival of our planet, nor the survival of our species. So what is the mutation that will save us at this point? What is the consciousness with which we can navigate the change?
We know what it is: it's the consciousness of love, and this weekend we will call it forth in ways that will inspire us all...
Can't wait to be with you. You can save your spot here.
All my best,
Marianne Williamson | | | | | | | | | | |
