About:	Due to the International Women's day, the national demonstration and manifestation is organized by 8 March committee Amsterdam on Thursday, March 8, 2012. We celebrate this day with a torch light parade of women walking from the Dam square to Weteringcircuit. Then there is a festive event with music, short speeches, performances and self-care buffet.
Venue:	Dam square - from 17:00, 18:30 - torch light parade, 19:30 - festive manifestation at HTIB (1ste Weteringplantsoen 2C)., Amsterdam

In Nederland en vele andere landen in de wereld komen vrouwen in verzet tegen geweld, onderdrukking en uitbuiting. 8 maartcomité Amsterdam werkt aan de organisatie van de landelijke demonstratie en feestelijke en strijdbare manifestatie samen met vrouwen en organisaties uit andere steden.
