GroenFront! Gathering 2012

This year's GroenFront Gathering will be held from the 14th until the 16th of September in Hooghalen (The Netherlands). This gathering is the annual meeting point for radical eco-activists from Belgium and Holland.

The gathering is interesting for experienced activists, new activists, people who are interested in alternatives, basically for everyone who likes to contribute to saving nature and the ecosystems. We believe that by taking control in our own hands through direct action we can make a difference, more than making ourselves dependent upon policymakers or industry.

The gathering is not an all-inclusive resort, but a fun and interesting meeting where everybody has to help out every now and then. That's why we are looking for people who are willing to volunteer, many hands make light work!

So come join us for two days of learning, discussions, meeting people, conspiring, informing, strategizing, making an campfire and getting inspired.

Location:
This year the gathering will be held on a small eco campsite in the heart of the province Drenthe called: Thyencamp. The address of this campsite: Laaghalerveen 23 in Hooghalen. More information about the camping can be found at: www.thyencamp.nl/en

Date:
The gathering will take place in the weekend of 14-15-16 September. The program will begin on Friday evening. Friday during the day we will be busy building the facilities; help is always welcome. Do you have any spare time? Come help us Friday morning.

Costs:
10 euro. (food not included in price)

What to bring:
Tent, sleeping bag,, sleeping mat.

What not to bring:
Dogs, journalists, nazis.
