the liberated Social Center Under the Bridge Amsterdam (SCUBA) will
host tomorrow an impro party in solidarity with the Schiphol People
together with migrants and survivors from water & fire
"When i was a kid i never knew really what to become, people would
ask me what i was going to be when i grew up, and i never knew, and
then my mother she suggested to become a bridge builder. Because is
a very well paid job, as a bridge builder engineer, but for now, i'm
living under it. and it feels like building bridges anyway..." (Ben)
yes we build more bridges and this one is about squatters
solidar with migrants struggle and working conditions.
you've never lived so luxurius as under the bridge, with 200 cleaners from Schiphol. let it be a party with people, even if they wear a uniform to clean your cigaret, they are different people, and here we are to know each other, a liberated space under the bridge.
we are going to party, starts tomorrow around noon, we will know each other, share stories. squatters are welcome to come help us host the party, share this liberated space. we need a Samovar, hopefully someone will load a bakfiets with beers
