[Den Bosch] Poortblokkade door Landbouwactiekamp veevoerfabriek De Heus
Maandag was gepland als de actiedag van het landbouwactiekamp. Als actiedoelwit was de veevoederfabriek De Heus is het centrum van De Bosch gekozen. De activisten wilden gedurende een aantal uur de toegang voor de vrachtwagens blokkeren en de mogelijkheid hebben om voor de camera met een directielid van De Heus in gesprek te gaan. De politie was van te voren op de hoogte van de actie en was 's ochtends vroeg al met 3 ME busjes aanwezig op de locatie waar de actie plaats zou vinden. Toch is de actie erg succesvol geweest en zijn de actievoerders in hun doelen geslaagd.
Eerder in de week waren er al verschillende workshops geweest om de deelnemers voor te bereiden op de actie. Als thema voor de actiedag was het gebruik van genetisch gemanipuleerde soja gekozen. De actievoerders willen dat veevoederproducenten stoppen met het gebruik van gentechsoja als grondstof voor veevoer. Voor de productie hiervan wordt op grote schaal regenwoud en savanne gekapt en platgebrand. Ook worden kleine boeren van hun land verdreven door de grote sojaboeren. De soja dient als voedsel voor miljoenen dieren die in Europa onder barbaarse omstandigheden worden gehouden. Daarmee wordt een zeer niet-duurzame en inefficiënte voedselketen in stand gehouden. Nederland is na China de grootste importeur van soja.
Toen 's ochtends duidelijk werd dat er al volop politie en zelfs ME aanwezig was bij De Heus, is na overleg besloten om rustig richting de fabriek te lopen en alleen het laatste stukje de spandoeken tevoorschijn te halen. Onderweg kwamen we langs bushokjes waar in plaats van de gebruikelijke reclames, posters hingen die aandacht vroegen voor de schadelijke gevolgen van gentechsoja. Aangekomen bij De Heus bleek dat de hoofdingang was afgesloten en op dat moment niet werd gebruikt. In plaats daarvan gebruikte men nu een zijpoort. De politiewoordvoerders waren onderweg al in contact getreden met de politie en gingen nu ook direct in gesprek. Vrij snel splitste de groep en is een deel van de activisten naar de tweede poort gelopen, waar een nog grote groep ME stond. Ook deze poort werd nu niet meer gebruikt, omdat de ME en nu ook de activisten deze blokkeerden. Na onderhandelingen zijn Ad Loos, algemeen directeur van De Heus, en een PR medewerker vanuit Ede naar Den Bosch gekomen om voor de camera met de actievoerders in gesprek te gaan.
In het gesprek zei de directeur zich te realiseren dat er problemen zijn bij de productie van soja. Daarom doet het bedrijf (via de brancheorganisatie) mee aan de Round Table on Responsible Soy (RTRS). Volgens de actievoerders is dit echter een wassen neus, georganiseerd door bedrijven als Monsanto, Cargill, BP, Unilever en Ahold, waarbij de stem van de kleine boeren en kritische milieuorganisaties niet wordt gehoord . Volgens Ad Loos doet de Heus "alles wat binnen het vermogen van het bedrijf ligt om tot een duurzamere productie te komen." Hij verwees hierbij expliciet naar de oké-stempel van de NGO's in de Ronde Tafel, maar de actievoerders konden hier geen genoegen mee nemen en beschouwen de rol van het Wereldnatuurfonds en Solidaridad in de RTRS als pure greenwash.
Uit het gesprek werd duidelijk dat de leiding van De Heus duurzame bedrijfsvoering niet ten koste wil laten gaan van de productie en winstgevendheid. Op de lange termijn zou het bedrijf wel willen overgaan op regionale eiwitproductie. De actievoerders benadrukten dat je alleen verantwoord bezig bent als je eerst de problemen met de productie oplost en pas daarna eventueel doorgaat met de import. 'Het zal overigens niet mogelijk zijn de huidige hoeveelheid veevoer en vlees duurzaam en lokaal te produceren. Een radicale inkrimping van de vleessector is noodzakelijk, vooral in Nederland,' aldus een van de activisten die aan het gesprek deelnam.
Na afloop van het gesprek toen de actievoerders net waren vertrokken werd onverwachts en zonder directe aanleiding een van de actievoerders hardhandig door de politie gearresteerd en afgevoerd. Het bleek te gaan om 'vandalisme'. Er was slechts eerder op de dag met stoepkrijt en waterverf op de straat getekend en de arrestant was daarmee gestopt zodra de politie daarom vroeg. De arrestant werd weer snel zonder aanklacht vrijgelaten.

The Ecotopia Biketour is an eco-mobile do-it-yourself activist community which cycles through Europe each summer. In 1992, the Earth Summit (UNCSD), in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), established the first world calendar and the 27 principles for sustainable development.
Twenty years later, still in Rio (20th 22nd June 2012) away from their commitments, governments are going to promote "green economy", renouncing to put political choices, social justice and sustainability over economic logics . Their so-called green economy is leading to the extension of the commodification and financialization of nature and society, even though we live in a context of unprecedented crises (financial, economic, social, ecological ...).
This initiative will take the form of a thematic Forum within the World Social Forum. It aims at enabling many current struggles against useless major projects to rally, in order to identify these projects, to count them,to fight them. It will develop solidarities with the organization of convergent actions at European level ... to move forward along the path of social, ecological and democratic transition.

While more and more countries withdraw from using nuclear energy, and while the economic model based on unlimited exploitation of fossil fuels by energy corporations is reaching its limits, the Polish government (after intense lobbying ny the multinational nuclear sector) is planning to spend 150 billion Zlotys on the construction of two nuclear power plants in the country.
A coalition of various Polish groups and organisations struggling against nuclear energy and for social and environmental justice are coming together to give a public voice to the opposition against these plans and to promote public action and organising in the directly affected communities. 22. International Sailing and Bicycle Tour to Stop Nuclear Power Worldwide

The AntiNuclearNetwork NorthEast Germany (AntiAtomBündnis NordOst) – is planning a sailing trip against nuclear power, on which we want to cruise through the Baltic Sea and get active, be creative and also visible for the public. We invite all active people especially from countries around the Baltic Sea to join us and take part in this sailing trip for a future without nuclear power! For two weeks we will sail and live on the „Lovis" - a big traditional sailing ship with an interesting history, a nice atmosphere and the mission of bringing people together and giving them room for a joined experience of exchanging, sharing and learning (http://www.lovis.de). We will be on board the „Lovis" on the last stage of its tour along the Baltic Sea coasts and bring our joined message to all the harbours and stops that we will pass on our trip.

The GÜZ is one of the major places in Germany for the preparation of war. With its regular weapon transportations, the foreseeable construction works on the new urban combat training city, its high tech laser installations and much more, the GÜZ offers to us the opportunity to learn from each other practically, to invent how to bring to a standstill a war machinery. It's here, that all units of the German army practice for two weeks before they are deployed in Afghanistan or some other war zone. They arrive with their own vehicles, equipments and weapons. The GÜZ is gigantic and hardly fenced in. The schedule for military training is fully booked, delays are not supposed to happen. Ever. We want to practically show, that it is possible to stop the war here, where it begins. In this sense we welcome all forms of action that mark, block and sabotage the ongoing training in operation!

The bookfair's aim is to advance analysis, to exchange experience, and to strengthen cooperation. Furthermore, we want to correct simplified images of anarchism and anarchists. We want the bookfair to be open and inviting: a place where everyone feels welcome, curious pensioners as much as long-time activists. The goals of the Stockholm No Border Camp this year are to highlight and act against corporations and capital interests that supports the state's migration policies while also profiting from the deportation machinery; to share our experiences and skills and together build on our knowledge to better be able to conduct solidarity campaigns and fight the nation state and it's policies on migration; to advance the argument of freedom of movement and a world without borders into the public debate. On the 17th of June there will be a mass demonstration in central Stockholm for a world without borders. On the 18th there will be a solidarity action with the people detained in the detention center in Märsta. During the week actions are also being planned against detention- and deportations profiteers, repression, companies who exploit migrant workers and the security complex.

This year we expect more participants from neighbouring countries. The Ecotopia Biketour is an eco-mobile do-it-yourself activist community which cycles through Europe each summer. This year our journey takes us through Catalonia, the South of France and Northern Italy and our theme is degrowth, challenging the damaging mentality of growth which overlooks real social and environmental values. We will visit projects, collectives and people who are
experimenting with alternatives to growth, learn from each other and live sustainably! And we also have the challenge to get to cross both the Pyrénées and the Alps with the help of our trusty bikes.
We would love for you to join us, if: you can cycle around 50 km per day (probably with some very hot days on hilly roads!); you are interested in environmental and social justice issues and want to take part in actions; you want to take part in consensus decision-making (communicating!) and you want to help with the daily tasks such as preparing meals, pulling trailers, washing up or tidying the sleeping places.

6. European Forum against Enforced Useless Major Projects, Notre-Dame-des-Landes, France

In 1992, the Earth Summit (UNCSD), in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), established the first world calendar and the 27 principles for sustainable development.
Twenty years later, still in Rio (20th 22nd June 2012) away from their commitments, governments are going to promote "green economy", renouncing to put political choices, social justice and sustainability over economic logics . Their so-called green economy is leading to the extension of the commodification and financialization of nature and society, even though we live in a context of unprecedented crises (financial, economic, social, ecological ...).
This initiative will take the form of a thematic Forum within the World Social Forum. It aims at enabling many current struggles against useless major projects to rally, in order to identify these projects, to count them,to fight them. It will develop solidarities with the organization of convergent actions at European level ... to move forward along the path of social, ecological and democratic transition.
We invite all the people, local collectives, networks, organizations ... involved in the fighting to join us on the site of Notre Dame des Landes, from July 7th to July 11th 2012, to move and act together.

Opencast coal mining in the Douglas Valley is about the ruling class destroying communities for their own financial gain. It's about ecological destruction on a massive scale for capitalism's unquenchable thirst for cheap energy. It's about absentee fat-cat land-lords making millions off land that shouldn't be theirs. It's about morally corrupt local (and national) government putting profit before people.
Take Back the Land! will be a space for taking action, sharing skills and learning through doing. It will be a welcoming and safe space for all those wishing to challenge the social injustice and environmental destruction caused by opencast coal mining operations in Scotland and throughout the world.
In solidarity with the communities of the Douglas Valley, we will be directly confronting the power structures and infrastructures which have dominated and scarred the valley for too long with a mass action planned for the 14th July and plenty of room for skilling up, recruitment and affinity group actions to be taken.

12. Anti-Nuclear Camp "Against Nuclear Energy – For Energy Democracy" Lubiatowo, Poland

While more and more countries withdraw from using nuclear energy, and while the economic model based on unlimited exploitation of fossil fuels by energy corporations is reaching its limits, the Polish government (after intense lobbying ny the multinational nuclear sector) is planning to spend 150 billion Zlotys on the construction of two nuclear power plants in the country.
A coalition of various Polish groups and organisations struggling against nuclear energy and for social and environmental justice are coming together to give a public voice to the opposition against these plans and to promote public action and organising in the directly affected communities. The camp will be a space dedicated to exchange of experiences, skills and knowledge between those fighting for environmental and social justice, with the main focuse being the anti-social policies of governments and nultinational energy companies.
A demonstration in Gdansk will take place on Saturday, 28th. We invite all people expecting peaceful actions, whether you are an activist or you're interested in becoming part of the anti-nuclear movement.

Laboratory of Insurrectionary Imagination (Lab of ii) merges art and life, creativity and resistance, proposition and opposition. Infamous for touring the UK recruiting a rebel clown army, running courses in postcapitalist culture, throwing snowballs at bankers, turning hundreds of abandoned bikes into machines of disobedience and launching a rebel raft regatta to shut down a coal fired power station; we treat insurrection as an art and art as a means of preparing for the coming insurrection. The Lab of ii is now in the process of setting up an international utopian art/life school on a Permaculture farm in Brittany.
The workshop will take place in the run up to the labofii's performance intervention for the Kampnagel Summer festival, Natural Revenge. For those who wish, there will also be the opportunity to carry on working with the Laboratory of Insurrectionary Imagination on this production, which will take place on August 24th. This will involve taking part in rehearsals from August 20th.

22. International Sailing and Bicycle Tour to Stop Nuclear Power Worldwide
Aug 25 – Sep 9 , from Stockholm (Sweden) to Greifswald (Germany)
The AntiNuclearNetwork NorthEast Germany (AntiAtomBündnis NordOst) – is planning a sailing trip against nuclear power, on which we want to cruise through the Baltic Sea and get active, be creative and also visible for the public. We invite all active people especially from countries around the Baltic Sea to join us and take part in this sailing trip for a future without nuclear power! For two weeks we will sail and live on the „Lovis" - a big traditional sailing ship with an interesting history, a nice atmosphere and the mission of bringing people together and giving them room for a joined experience of exchanging, sharing and learning (http://www.lovis.de). We will be on board the „Lovis" on the last stage of its tour along the Baltic Sea coasts and bring our joined message to all the harbours and stops that we will pass on our trip.
A second group will be on their bikes and will be active along the shoreline. There will be regular contact between bikers and the sailors and there will be meetings in some places to do actions together. We will meet active people from different countries like Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Poland, Russia, and also from Great Britain and France to state a joint message far a future without nuclear power!

Discussions and Actions against the Combat-Training-Center of the Bundeswehr and NATO
The GÜZ is one of the major places in Germany for the preparation of war. With its regular weapon transportations, the foreseeable construction works on the new urban combat training city, its high tech laser installations and much more, the GÜZ offers to us the opportunity to learn from each other practically, to invent how to bring to a standstill a war machinery. It's here, that all units of the German army practice for two weeks before they are deployed in Afghanistan or some other war zone. They arrive with their own vehicles, equipments and weapons. The GÜZ is gigantic and hardly fenced in. The schedule for military training is fully booked, delays are not supposed to happen. Ever. We want to practically show, that it is possible to stop the war here, where it begins. In this sense we welcome all forms of action that mark, block and sabotage the ongoing training in operation!
For all these reasons we call you to come to the anti-militarist camp at the Gefechtsübungszentrum Altmark the 12.-17. September 2012 to fight with us for a better world.

We thought the Conference as an opportunity to confront on degrowth exempt from all reductionism, economical but even ecological or political, and this requires to organize debate and discussion paying attention to connections, interactions, transversal linking, with a strong cross-disciplinary look capable of holding together natural and social sciences.

Soli actie Boats4people in Amsterdamse IJ
Vandaag is een twintigtal mensen in het IJ in Amsterdam gaan varen in opgetuigde bootjes met spandoeken en ballonnen in de vorm van "Boats4people". Tegelijkertijd werd op verschillende pontjes een flyer uitgedeeld met informatie over Frontex en Boats4people.
Er zijn in een paar uur goed duizend flyers uitgedeeld, waarin de rol van EU agentschap Frontex wordt uitgelicht. Dankzij het mooi weer en het NDSM festival was het druk op de pont. Een kleine flotilla met spandoeken en de ballonenletters "Boats4people" voer langs de pont terwijl de flyer werd uitgedeeld. Mensen namen de tijd om de flyer goed door te lezen en af en toe een gesprek aan te gaan over deze problematiek. De reacties waren overwegend positief en solidair. Het enige min was een havendienst-boot die ons sommeerde om niet met de flotilla in het IJ te varen, vanwege een afreizende, gigantische cruiseschip. Er kon nog net op een veilige afstand naar gezwaaid worden.

Ook in Den Haag, Eindhoven, Rotterdam en ,a href="http://peterstormschrijft.wordpress.com/2012/07/08/solidariteit-met-boats4people-aardige-actie-in-tilburg/">Tilburg zijn publieksacties gevoerd, veelal in het kader van de Occupy beweging.
Boats4People is een internationale coalitie van organisaties uit het Middellandse Zeegebied, Afrika en Europa. Opgericht om een einde te maken aan sterfgevallen aan de zeegrenzen en om de rechten van migranten op zee te verdedigen, pleit de coalitie voor vrijheid van beweging voor iedereen! De Flotilla van Boats4People vaart van 5 tot 15 juli op de Middellandse Zee. Activisten en waarnemers proberen de activiteiten van het Europese grensbewakingsagentschap Frontex te monitoren.

boerderij gekraakt te eelderwolde (drenthe/groningen)
1 juli is er in eelderwolde, een klein dorpje vlak buiten de stad groningen, een oude boerderij gekraakt.
Het pand stond al tijden leeg. De gemeente was eigenlijk van plan het te slopen maar daar is toch vanaf gezien vanwege de historische waarde van het pand.
Tot dat er een heldere en duidelijke bestemming is voor het pand willen de krakers er wonen en het pand opknappen.

De gemeente wil het pand vanwege het historische karakter niet slopen.
Daar elke provincie/gemeente door de bezuinigingen geraakt is vind ik het fantastisch dat er tijdelijk mensen in gaan wonen die de boerderij tevens
onderhouden en herstellen, waar nodig.
We hebben het dan ook niet over kraken maar over een verregaande vorm van burgerparticipatie.
Gezien de trage structuur binnen de overheid hebben de participanten vooruitgekeken en ingezet.
Dit valt vlgs mij dan ook prima uit te leggen aan provinciebestuur en gemeenteraad.
Laten wij dan ook hopen dat zij ook over visie beschikken en de participanten de kans geven hier "tijdelijk" iets moois van te maken,waarbij je bij goed gebruik
er misschien een permanente karakter aan kan geven.

De ontruiming van de Passeerdersgracht, en het ‘fictierelaas’ van de politie
De politie heeft een verslag gepubliceerd over het politieoptreden tijdens de ontruiming van de Passeerdersgracht op 5 juli 2011. Als reactie op het 'feitenrelaas' van de politie heeft Schijnheilig een weerlegging geschreven. In de links onder, vindt je de weerlegging van het feitenrelaas van de politie, de ooggetuigenverslagen en de krantenartikelen waar de tekst naar verwijst.
Introductie
Wij hebben met enige verbazing het feitenrelaas van de politie ontvangen. Het lag in de lijn der verwachting dat de politie haar versie van de werkelijkheid zou presenteren en dat de burgemeester deze zijn zegel van goedkeuring zou geven. Maar wij hadden eerlijk gezegd niet verwacht dat het feitenrelaas van de politie zo openlijk zou afwijken van de beelden van de NOS[2] en van de verslaglegging van het Parool en de Volkskrant. Daarbij is de burgemeester, na het maken van een statement dat er geen gewonden zijn gevallen, bezocht door een vrijwilliger van het collectief Schijnheilig met een gebroken arm, en het raadslid Tamira Combrink die als observant door een ME'er in haar gezicht is geslagen, en buiten de linies werd gehouden. Dat, en het feit dat er 160 mensen zijn opgepakt en vastgezet (sommigen voor zeer lange tijd), terwijl er slechts 6 worden vervolgd, zou op zich al genoeg moeten zijn om enige twijfels te doen rijzen over de proportionaliteit van het politieoptreden.
Het is voer voor discussie waar precies de grenzen liggen van een proportioneel politieoptreden. Duidelijk is dat in dit geval excessief en onnodig geweld is gebruikt door de politie. We willen niet verbloemen of goedpraten dat er door een kleine minderheid vanuit de menigte ook geweld is gebruikt of flessen zijn gegooid. Maar dit vond, zoals het Parool tot drie maal aan toe heeft geschreven, plaats als reactie op het onnodig brute politieoptreden. Bovendien zijn de demonstranten die geweld hebben gebruikt door de politie opgepakt en worden zij vervolgd. Het optreden van de politie wordt echter door niemand tegen het licht gehouden. Demonstranten werden in een fuik gedreven, waarna zij van beide kanten werden geknuppeld, ook op het hoofd. De demonstranten hebben zich daarna kunnen verwijderen naar de Prinsengracht, en hebben daarmee feitelijk gehoor gegeven aan de politievordering. Dat zou het logische einde van de ontruiming en het politieoptreden moeten zijn geweest. Toen koos de politie ervoor verder te escaleren door met busjes op de menigte in te rijden. Vervolgens is op de Prinsengracht de hele groep op Kafkaeske wijze vastgezet en opgepakt voor… juist: het niet opvolgen van de politievordering om zich te verwijderen naar de Prinsengracht. Gebrek aan humor kan de politie in ieder geval niet verweten worden.
In wat volgt, zullen kort enkele kernpunten uit het feitenrelaas van de politie worden weerlegd.
1) Er was geen sprake van een gewelddadige sfeer voor de aanvang van het politieoptreden.
2) De vordering was voor het grootste deel van de demonstranten helemaal niet te horen.
3) Het politiegeweld was hoofdzakelijk gericht tegen vreedzame demonstranten. Het overgrote deel van de demonstranten, zelfs de zwartgemaskerde demonstranten die het feitenrelaas noemt, pleegde passief verzet.
4) De politie probeerde direct na het inzetten van de eerste charge de groep in te sluiten.
5) De massa-arrestatie was nergens voor nodig, omdat het geweld wel degelijk geïndividualiseerd kon worden.
6) Er waren onregelmatigheden na de arrestatie.
Daarna sluiten we af met een conclusie over het bredere thema van het demonstratierecht in de stad, dat naar onze mening bedreigd wordt door onnodig gewelddadig en escalerend politieoptreden.
