Lappersforters weer op vrije voeten

De twee Lappersforters Pietree en Sofie, zijn na 10 dagen onterechte gevangenschap vrijgesproken voor het nemen van vervallen eten uit de containers van de Del haize in Assenbroek, maar opnieuw in beschuldiging gesteld. Dit maal voor een supermarkt in Zedelgem. De onderzoeksrechter zag echter geen reden voor langere aanhouding hoewel het onderzoek nog loopt. Voorwaarde voor de in vrijheidstelling is, dat justitie hun kan bereiken via de advocaat.


In de nacht van 31 maart op 1 april werden Pietree en Sofie, met geskipt eten, op 2 minuten afstand van het Lappersfortbos aangehouden door de politie. De volgende dag werden zij overgeplaatst naar St Andries,
een van de meest beruchte gevangenissen van Belgie in afwachting van hun proces. Het vonnis was negatief, verlengd voorarrest met een maand, waarna hoger beroep werd aangetekend. Deze stond gepland voor a.s dinsdag, maar het tweetal werd onverwachts opnieuw voor de onderzoeksrechter gebracht, waarna vrijspraak kwam voor de aanklacht in Assenbroek.

Het is een vreemde gang van zaken. Zo werden er dingen vanuit justitie beweerd, die achteraf in de verste verte nog niet waar blijken te zijn. Zo zouden ze op heterdaad zijn betrapt op het terrein van de Del Haize in Assenbroek. Nu blijkt dat Pietree en Sofie daar nooit zijn geweest. Er was geen schroevendraaier en er staat niets op de camera. Er waren geen sporen, het hek waarvan het tweetal werd beschuldigd het te hebben doorgeknipt, bestaat niet eens. Kortom er was die nacht niet ingebroken. Wel hebben Pietree en Sofie, door deze valse beschuldiging, 10 dagen in de gevangenis St Andries moeten doorbrengen.

Als justitie zo zeker is van een strafbaar feit, waarom hebben ze dan hierover tegenover iedereen gelogen? Zelfs de Del Haize van Assenbroek werd onder druk gezet om een valse verklaring af te leggen, door te beweren dat hij het tweetal inderdaad op de camera had gezien. Dit heeft hij echter niet gedaan. Een verklaring waarin staat dat hij het tweetal niet heeft gezien werd niet geaccepteerd.

Tijdens het verhoor op 9-04 van Pietree en Sofie, werd hun een andere werkelijkheid voorgehouden. ´Het was voor ons al meteen duidelijk dat jullie daar niet konden zijn geweest, we zijn de eerste dag al naar de Del Haize geweest en hebben gevraagd naar de camerabeelden. Toen de directeur zei; ik heb ze even vluchtig bekeken er staat niets op, namen wij hier genoegen mee en was de zaak afgerond´ aldus een der rechercheurs.

Gisteren 10-04 werden Pietree en Sofie onverwachts wederom naar de onderzoeksrechter gebracht. Hier werd duidelijk dat zij voor de inbraak en diefstal in Assenbroek werden vrijgesproken, maar bereikbaar moesten blijven voor een 2de lopend proces. Ditmaal gaat het dus om een supermarkt in Zedelgem

Today issue that's like usual agenda, then as main subject would be how to climat change for better.We will play audio from the movie"Story of stuff" and and solution for over consumption and other bad things for the environment. Dzisiejszy Awakening o sposobach by zmienić klimat na lepsze.
Powoli zmieniamy nazwę polskojęzycznej części z "Polskiego kwadransu" na "Polonię Aktywną", bo poprzednia wydaje nam się nie adekwatna do prawie godzinnego czasu na  antenie.
Głównym tematem w dzisiejszym programie ekologia, sposoby na uratowanie naszej planety, zmniejszenie konsumpcji, zanieczyszczeń itp.Wspomnimy też o największym powodzie emisji co2 czyli przemyśle mięsnym( a nie samochodowym tak jak wielu z Was pewnie myśli)

Po za tym jak zwykle ważne i pozytywne wiadomości,a na zakończenie kontynuacja książki "anarchia w obrazkach" o historii ruchu.

Jeśli chcesz przedstawić nam swój skłot skontaktuj się, przyślij nam materiał(najlepiej audio)lub jeszcze lepiej umów się na skypa lub zadzwoń do studia. ( Tak samo jeśli chciałbyś poruszyć inne ważne tematy.) Do usłyszenia

Radio patapoe jest zarówno internetowe jak i w eterze. Normalne fale mają zasięg lokalny, a przez internet można nas słuchać na całym świecie. Jesteśmy radiem pirackim. Słuchają je głównie skłotersi, studenci, lecz także starsi ludzie , po których raczej bym się nie spodziewał. Ogólnie staramy się by było jak najbardziej zróżnicowane.

Z jedynych ograniczeń jakie mogę zauważyć to, to że nie puszczamy żadnej komercyjnej papki. Staramy się tworzyć alternatywę, a nie powielać stacje nastawione na zysk. Dlatego nie ma u nas żadnych reklam. Głównie przeważa muzyka eksperymentalna i elektroniczna, dużo jest reggae, dub, techno i punk. Po za tym audycje jakie miałyby małe szanse zaistnieć w komercyjnym radiu. Ja z Rabią gramy program "awakening" przez 3 godziny w tygodniu (patrz plakat po prawej stronie , pod linkami na stronach) w skład, którego wchodzi też "Polonia Aktywna"(czasami nawet do godziny). Gadamy non stop przez ponad trzy godziny o ważnych dla nas sprawach : skłoterskich , politycznych, wolnościowych, ekologicznych, duchowych, prawach ludzi , prawach zwierząt itp. Czasem zapraszamy gości z różnych społecznych organizacji, by udzielili nam wywiadu o tym co robią. W tle przeważnie leci jakiś anarcho punk z inteligentnym przekazem w innym języku niż rozmawiamy, by słowa się nie mieszały. Posłuchaj sam...

Right to the city

'The right to the city' – what could this mean? Surely it
means that people have access to basic needs like housing,
clean water, and safety. But obviously the right to the city
will not mean the same thing for all people and for all
times. That is why we want to organize an event where we can
show and debate the diversity of struggles against urban in-
justices. We want to get inspired by and learn from experi-
ences of movements around the globe.

*** 14.00-15.30 Squatting anno 2009 (probably partly in Dutch).
The crisis, the new 429 verdicts, the efforts to ban squatting; there is a lot going on. A discussion on how to deal with new developments with squatters from Rotterdam, a researcher from the SPOK and with a presenter from the new network binnenstad


*** 16.00-17.00 Prof. Mark Purcell (Washington University) on his book Recapturing Democracy: Neoliberalization and the Struggle for Alternative Urban Futures.
Mark Purcell advocates a vision of democracy in which many different social movements, all of whom are disadvantaged in some way by the dominance of neoliberalism, join together in broad networks to pursue the radical democratization of urban politics. He contends that there is much potential in the idea of "the right to the city" as an organizing principle that can bring movements together. The right to the city claims that urban space should first and foremost meet the needs of its inhabitants, not the needs of its owners. The presentation develops these ideas in dialogue with several concrete cases from the United States.

Amsterdam is often praised as a progressive city with excellent housing and social policies. It seems, however, that the Amsterdam government is increasingly and aggressively promoting gentrification. How did policies change during the last decade? How do social movements challenge the neoliberal policies of Amsterdam's government?



*** 18.00 Exhibition: axies in Amsterdam
Henk Langeveld has been active in the squatting movement and resident protest for several years now. With his pencil he documented demonstrations, street raves and evictions. Fortunately the number of axies in Amsterdam is so high that Henk's drawings just cover a small part of Amsterdam activism but they nevertheless give a graphic overview of some landmark places and historical events.


*** 18.30-20.00 A billion squatters: presentations and debate
The struggle for housing and for better living conditions is past its peak in Amsterdam but it is intensifying worldwide. The last couple of decades have seen the intensification of urbanization processes. Billions of people have been driven from their lands and pushed into cities. Especially in the developing world, cities are growing with dazzling speed. Most of the new urbanites have to resort to informal or illicit behavior in order to survive. They are forced to come up with new and creative solutions to cope with the consequences of failing markets and failing states. The amazing growth in the number of squatters is just one expression of this process. Around the world there are more than a billion squatters who live in self-constructed cities. In some countries, squatting has also drastically expanded outside cities – people who were pushed into the cities now take back their rural lands. At the same time, the police and paramilitary groups intensify their attempts to bring the land back under the control of the state and the market.
This workshop will kick off with a brief overview of urban struggles around the world and then zoom in on Turkey and several countries in Latin America.
